Stallion:
Imported, Pure Black Andalusian Stallion (PRE)
Fiscal IV x Melosa VI
Meloso is an imported, pure Spanish, pure black Andalusian stallion. He is homozygous black, with no white markings.
Meloso was born in 1997. He was bred in Spain and branded by Antonio San Roman Moran. Meloso has an excellent pedigree. He is approximately half old Military and half Bocado. He has multiple crosses back to Agente and Maluso on both his top and bottom lines.

Meloso
is known around the Bravata Farm as "Bandido." He was originally trained as a dressage competitor, but is being turned into a
Jumper by Bravata. Black
Andalusian sporthorses are very rare and highly sought after in the US and
Europe.
Meloso has an excellent conformation. He is very typey, with an abundance of main and tail. He has good legs, a short back and an unusually nice rear end. He has straight movement with good suspension and drive - definitely dressage-type movement. Most importantly, although he has plenty of brio, Meloso also has the typical sweet calm quiet Andalusian temperament that we demand from all of our horses.
Meloso won the 2006 ERAHC Liberty Class by acclamation. (That is how they do it at ERAHC. Whoever the crowd cheers for the loudest, wins.)
Meloso is registered in Spain, France and the US. His IALHA number is 9021(S). His Spanish Codigo No. is 190101002120101.
Meloso is available at stud. both live cover and AI to both purebreds and non-Andalusians.

Meloso is for sale. We are asking $37,500. For More Information, E-mail Us.
